What it costs to do this any other way

A designer building a small business site usually starts around a couple of thousand dollars, and that is before hosting, before a booking tool, and before anyone updates a price for you. A cheaper template still leaves you buying the domain, the hosting and the SSL certificate separately, and wiring them together yourself.

The comparison worth making is not against a free page builder — it is against the afternoon a week you currently spend answering the same questions on the phone, and the customers who searched, found nothing, and called someone else.

Questions about billing

Is there really a free trial?

Yes — every feature of both plans, with no credit card taken up front. You build your site, publish it, and see whether it does anything for you before any money changes hands. If you decide against it, do nothing and it simply stops.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your website pauses until you subscribe, and nothing is deleted. You keep full access to your dashboard and everything you built, and the moment you subscribe the site is back online exactly as you left it — same address, same content.

Do you take a commission on bookings or sales?

No. You pay one flat monthly subscription and that is the whole cost. Bookings, messages and payments from your customers go directly to you — we are never in the middle of a transaction, and there is no per-booking or per-invoice fee.

Can I switch between plans?

Any time, in both directions, from your billing page. Moving up to Business gives you customers, invoices and inventory immediately. Moving back down leaves your website untouched — you simply stop seeing the back-office pages.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, in a couple of clicks from your dashboard — no phone calls and no retention script. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again.

Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?

None. Hosting, the SSL certificate, your web address at your-name.business-lane.com, image optimisation, updates and support are all in the monthly price. The only thing you might pay for elsewhere is a custom domain of your own, if you want one.

What do I need to get started?

Your business name, what you offer, and some photographs. That is genuinely it — no designer, no developer, no hosting account and no domain purchase. Most owners have something publishable in an afternoon.
