A website for your shop

A small shop competes with the internet on the two things the internet is bad at: being nearby, and being trusted. A website is how someone finds out you are both.

Your stock goes online as products with photographs and prices, so someone can see what you carry before they walk over. Promotions and sales publish instantly, and the announcement bar handles the late-night opening or the January sale.

Behind the counter, the Business plan turns the same catalog into a back office: barcode labels you print on ordinary label sheets, stock levels with low-stock alerts, and invoices you build by scanning items with your phone camera — which also sells the stock down automatically.

What boutiques & retail actually need

  • Stock that counts itself down

An invoice sells the items on it out of your inventory, so the number on the screen matches the shelf without a stocktake.

  • Barcode labels you print yourself

Every product gets a code — off the box, generated, or typed. Print shelf labels with the name and price on ordinary sheets.

  • Scan a sale onto the invoice

Point your phone camera at the barcode and the item lands on the invoice at your price. A USB or Bluetooth scanner works too.

What you get

  • A product catalog with photos, prices and descriptions
  • Promotions and sales that go live the moment you save them
  • Barcode labels printed on ordinary label sheets
  • Inventory tracking with low-stock alerts
  • Invoices built by scanning, which sell the stock automatically

Everything above is on the Website plan at $20 a month. The Business plan at $25 adds customer records, invoices, barcode labels and inventory — compare the two plans.

Questions from boutiques & retail

Is this an online store with a checkout?

No. There is no cart and no card processing — customers browse your catalog and get in touch about an item, and the sale happens in your shop. If you want a full e-commerce store, you want a different product. If you want people to find your shop, see what you stock, and come in, this is built for that.

What if my products have no barcodes?

A code is generated for each one from your business name, or you can type your own. Print them as shelf labels with the product name and price beside the barcode, and from then on they scan like anything else in the shop.

Do I need to buy a scanner?

No — your phone is the scanner. Open an invoice, tap the camera button and point it at the barcode. If you already own a USB or Bluetooth scanner it works too with nothing to install, and you can always type a code in by hand when a barcode is scuffed.
